Match name: Red Brush 3-Gun.
Schedule: Generally the fifth Sunday of the month, but check newsletter or online match schedule (above) to make sure. Registration starts at 11:30, and match starts at noon.
Cost: $20.00.
Firearms used: Centerfire handgun, centerfire rifle, 12 or 20 gauge shotgun.
Usual number of rounds needed: Approximately 50 each of pistol, rifle, and shotgun. Stages will be posted in the 3-Gun forum before each match with expected round count.
Other equipment needed (in addition to eye and ear protection): Holster, belt, mag pouches.
Targets: Standard IPSC and IDPA targets, poppers, and various shapes and sizes of steel.
Format: Modified International Multi-gun Association rules. Scoring is based upon time plus penalties. Shooters are divided into divisions based upon firearms used. All shooters will compete in one class within their division. See the complete set of rules in the 3-Gun forum.
Prizes: Bragging rights until the next competition. Scores will be posted on this site soon after the completion of the match.
