Match name: Huff & Puff
Schedule: 3rd or 4th Sunday, March - October at 9:30am. See Match Schedule for exact dates.
Cost: $5.00
Firearms used: Any non-scoped centerfire rifle in a traditional "rifle" caliber (no M1 Carbines, or other pistol caliber carbines). Scoped rifles, M1 Carbines, or pistol caliber carbines are welcome to shoot, but not for score.
Usual number of rounds needed: 100-120 rounds.
Other equipment needed (in addition to eye and ear protection): 3-4 magazines for each firearm (no limit on capacity).
Targets: Standard IPSC cardboard silhouette target.
Format: Fixed time to advance to line and fire as many rounds as possible on target at 300 yards, 200 yards, and 100 yards. At some matches, there will be a final time period to advance to 50 yards and engage with pistol. Greatest number of hits on target wins. There is also a prize for closest hit to a 1" circle drawn on back of target.
Prizes: Cash payback: One-third of entry fees to highest score, one-third to closest hit to 1" circle. (Remainder goes to Red Brush.)
